How does a therapy session work?

In the initial sessions, we would delve into what is happening and how it is affecting the different areas of your life. We would go through your life history and your current situation (support network and stressors) to understand what has happened, and based on this, we would establish the objectives to work on and the specific tools for your situation, which would be reviewed throughout the treatment. These strategies would be practised together in session so that they can be implemented outside the consulting room as well.

Our therapeutic approach is the so-called ‘contextual psychology‘. However, as we prioritise personalising the therapy to the circumstances of each individual, we can also include tools from cognitive-behavioural therapy, systemic therapy, play therapy, etc.
