Óscar was born and raised in Venezuela, where he attended an international bilingual school. This experience allowed him to grow up in a multicultural environment from an early age, fostering a broad appreciation for human diversity and the many ways people understand and
engage with the world.
He later lived in the United States before moving to Spain to further his academic and professional development, where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology.
His international background and experience across different cultural settings have contributed to a deep understanding of adaptation, personal growth, and the challenges that often accompany life transitions. His training has been particularly focused on working with children, adolescents,
and young adults, with a special interest in academic and athletic performance, emotional regulation, and behavioural difficulties within educational and developmental contexts.
Alongside his work in psychology, Óscar has maintained a strong involvement in the performing arts as an actor and performer. This experience has enriched his understanding of creativity, emotional expression, identity development, and the unique challenges associated with artistic and high-performance environments.
Currently, he works with individuals across the lifespan from an empathetic, collaborative, and n on-judgmental perspective. His clinical approach is grounded in contextual and third-wave behavioural therapies, with a particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Through this approach, he seeks to foster psychological flexibility and help individuals connect with their personal values, supporting them in building lives that are meaningful, authentic, and aligned with what matters most to them.
