Alejandro Sancha Moreno is a psychologist who was born in Madrid and then spent his childhood between Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Upon returning to Spain at the age of eight, he completed his studies at the Lycée Français de Madrid, where he was exposed to students and perspectives from all over the world. His childhood and adolescence, full of change and rich experiences, planted the seed for his passion for cultural diversity. Guided by a deep interest in understanding human nature and making a positive impact on people’s lives, Alejandro earned his degree in Psychology from Rey Juan Carlos University.
During his undergraduate studies, he completed two international academic stays — at the State University of New York (USA) and the Université Jules Verne (France). He later obtained a Master’s in General Health Psychology from Universidad Europea de Madrid and a Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology from ISEP (Instituto Superior de Estudios Psicológicos), specializing in the assessment and intervention of Acquired Brain Injury.
He also developed an interest in child and adolescent psychology, completing a postgraduate degree in this area at ISEP. After internships at Luria Psicología, Sinews MTI, and the Polibea Sur Center for Acquired Brain Injury Care, Alejandro worked for five years as a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist at Sinews MTI, where he coordinated the Cognitive and Psychoeducational Assessment Service. During this time, he worked with international patients of all ages and expanded his training in cognitive assessment in Autism through the ADOS evaluation course at the IGAIN institute. He has also trained in Functional Behavior Analysis, an essential tool for providing evidence-based care. Alejandro has also worked independently through his online practice from New Delhi, Mumbai, and Paris, supporting international clients.
In addition to his clinical work, he has pursued another of his passions: teaching. He has lectured in the Psychology and Physiotherapy programs at Universidad Europea de Madrid, teaching in French, English, and Spanish to international students. He has also supervised internships and master’s theses both in the Psychology program at Universidad Europea and in the Master’s in Neuropsychological Assessment at the Instituto Superior de Estudios Psicológicos. The combination of his life experience, academic background, and clinical practice has given Alejandro a strong ability to adapt and to understand multicultural factors—key elements in his work to provide personalized, context-sensitive care to each individual he accompanies.
