family, Yasmin grew up between two cultures that have shaped both her identity and her way of understanding people. Her multicultural background has given her an open and sensitive perspective on human diversity and the many ways individuals adapt and relate to one another.<\/p>\n<p>She obtained her degree in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, during which time she collaborated with the ANAR Foundation, providing telephone-based psychological support to children and adolescents at risk, including those facing domestic violence and bullying. She also completed an academic year at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, where she deepened her understanding of various academic and clinical approaches, gaining a broader perspective on how psychology is understood and practised in international contexts.<\/p>\n<p>After graduating, she took part in a volunteer project in Wroc\u0142aw, Poland, where she worked in a nursery school and developed a greater sensitivity to the challenges of cultural and communicative diversity.<\/p>\n<p>She later completed a Master&#8217;s Degree in General Health Psychology at the University of Salamanca, where she trained at the university&#8217;s own psychological support service, offering psychological care to students experiencing academic difficulties, anxiety and depression, and adjustment issues, among other challenges. She also worked in the child and adolescent unit of the Virgen Vega University Hospital, as part of a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, nurses, and occupational therapists. In both settings, she carried out interventions based on psychoeducational and cognitive-behavioural approaches, also integrating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).<\/p>\n<p>Committed to continuous learning, Yasmin has furthered her academic training with a Master\u2019s Degree on the latest updates in psychological therapy (\u201cM\u00e1ster en Actualizaci\u00f3n en Intervenci\u00f3n Psicol\u00f3gica\u201d) and an advanced course in Mindfulness from the \u201cUniversidad a Distancia de Madrid\u201d, as well as specialised ACT training through the ACT Institute of Madrid and a Master&#8217;s Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from San Jorge University. She currently also provides psychological care at a medical centre, supporting both adults and children\/adolescents.<\/p>\n<p>Her work focuses on supporting individuals through processes of uncertainty and change, offering a safe space where they can explore, understand, and accept their emotional experiences.
